I am tired of all the bad news everywhere these days. Murder, rape, kidnappings, etc. I believe the world is a good place, and that people are generally good. I think the news as brought all the evil to the surface making everyone afraid of their surroundings. For this reason, I rarely tune into the news. There are so many people is this world that do good, change lives but get no recognition. Yet these "bad" people are headline news for days, weeks, years. It sickens me.
The goal of my new blog is to spread good news, tell of good people, spread feel good stories. Hopefully, in doing this, it may rekindled peoples faith in the goodness of mankind.
I hope you will visit and spread the word once I have it up and running.

I have been TAGGED....
Here are the rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules.
At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!
1) When sleeping at night, all doors (closets included) need to be shut. I am not sure what this stems from but it is a MUST. Ihave passed this on to Natasha. It is funny to watch her walk around making sure doors are shut before she goes to sleep.
2) I love thunderstorms and rain (not pissing rain or mist...a real downpour). Whenever I think of rain I think of my Pa and how much he loves the sound and how happy rain makes him.
3) I cannot wink well. I wink bad enough to almost say I cannot wink. When I wink my whole face has to contorts and even then both eyes are nearly closed.
4) I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food. There are not many things I won't eat and/or try. The following, though common, are exceptions of what I will not eat:
- raisins, syrup, honey, apple juice.
5) I would love to learn another language or two.
6) I love any kind of dough/batter. Bread dough, cookie dough, cake batter, etc. I will be 27 and I have to fight with my girls to lick the bowl.
7) I am a gum addict. If I have a superpack of gum, guaranteed it will be gone, within hours. My husband has taked to hiding gum on me for just this reason.
I will pick my 7 people tomorrow.

Smoking
Garbage on the ground makes me angry. Garbage in playgrounds makes me furious. I can't understand why people have such a disregard for children playing. I have pounded (maybe a harsh word choice) into Natasha's head that garbage does not belong on the ground. It goes in the garbage, or our pockets until we can find a garbage. I saw this cigarette pack in the sand at the park yesterday and it just made me so mad. I was looking at the picture a little closer and I did not like what it depicted to those who cannot read. I am thinking along the lines of young children who see a pregnant woman smoking. They won't understand its bad they'll just see the picture. What is that telling them? Anyway I am totally of the believe of parents teaching their children what is right and wrong, good and bad, etc....but this still rub me the wrong way.
Natasha and Gido
Natasha just loves to read books. I just ordered 8 new books for her through Scholastic. Here she is looking at one of them with Gido. When Natasha was little she wanted nothing to do with Gido. NOW they are good buds!

Back from MEXICO
Enjoy some pictures for now and I will update with captions and stories later.

I had a couple of drinks (maybe more than a couple) and I was feeling artistic. Palladium is the name of the resort we stayed at, and LOVED!!!

A picture of our private beach. It was not private to only Adam and I but so our Royal side of the resort.

Picture of Adam with the waves crashing behind him. This was on one of our many walks along the beach.

Sunset from our private pool.

Cuca! We went on a tour, Sierra Madre, and this lady made us homemade tacos! I don't think I have ever had a taco taste soooo good!

A gentleman, Francois, from our tour handing out candy to the local children.

A picture of a Mexican cemetary. There is another word for it but I don't want to butcher the spelling.

A close up picture of the crocodile on our resort.

A beautiful flower, but I can't remember the name.

Another beach picture but from the other side of the resort.

My Adam on one of our walks. It seems we were always looking down...keeping an eye for that perfect shell for Natasha.

A picture of the both of us. Of all the picture taken I might be in 10 which is fine by me...I much prefer being behind the camera. Of the pictures of us together probably 99% of them were taken with an extended arm...this is one of them.
