Finally Home
Well most know that my dear (most times) husband has been working in Fort McMoney since May. It has worked out with a couple of bad days (for him and me) here and there. I am EXTREMELY happy to say that he will be home tomorrow for the holiday season. He will be heading to Red Deer on January 2 for his last period of school before he is a journeyman. Fort McMurray to Red Deer will be a huge difference and we will see him at least 4 days a week.
Now that he will be home we will go and get our tree. We get a live tree and leave it up until January 7 which is Ukrainian Christmas.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Jingle Bell Zoo
Ok I have to admitt I am terrible when it comes to getting out and enjoying our city of Edmonton. We have been to the musuem, the zoo (like 2 years ago), and WEM. Everytime I do decide to go out...I have fun as do the kids. Anyway today we went to Jingle Bell Zoo at the River Valley Zoo. They had crafts, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, face painting, and of course animals. It was quite good and relatively quiet. We did not have to fight at any of the craft tables, the wait for face painting was short, and we caught Santa at the end with no one around. Anyway here are some photos...

Picture Problems
I got my Christmas cards finished in October. I book the girls in for Christmas pictures so I could get my cards out by early December. Ok so the girls were sick and I had to reschedule pictures at Sears, TWICE! So we went, the girls were dressed up, and in the end....NO GOOD PICTURES. So we came home, I made up my own portrait studio with a sheet in my hallway. Here are some of the results:
