Last year we started eating surf and turf on New Years Eve. The girls were not old enough last year to partake. This year we went into Sherwood Park for the fireworks, and then came home and did the same thing again. Ashley was not part of it this year...but there was no putting Natasha to bed without tasting some lobster.
MMMMMM sweet lobster! Thank you for your tasty meat...
You have to dip your lobster meat into butter...

CHRISTMAS
Christmas for us involves Adam's parents, Our house, My mom's side, and then my dad's side. Below are some pictures from our time up north for Christmas...

The whole gang on my mom's side. It is very rare I will post a picture of myself because I am NEVER and I mean NEVER happy with how I look. My husband describes my picture pose as a deer in the headlight look. Look for me in the green shirt holding the baby.
Natasha and Brynne, aka chocolate and vanilla, aka salt and pepper. These girls see each other 2-3 times a year but always have so much fun together. This time around they were sisters and it was a sad parting when it was time for home.
Natasha eating a huge rib. Christmas at "the shack" was snack/finger food (ribs, steak, lobster, crab, wings, shrimp, etc). At first Natasha wanted nothing to do with trying a rib...she had one bite and it was like trying to take a bone from a dog.
The girls Christmas morning with their stocking items. Ashley was so not feeling well but put on a good face.
Ashley at Nana and Grandads. They bought a festive train set and she was happy in the middle watching it go round and round. She got a little concerned when she wanted to get ou though.
Daddy and his blondies. While it is hard for me to take a nice picture, it is hard for him to take a bad one...quite frustrating.
