How do you make your coffee? Do you buy pre-ground beans like Maxwell House, Folgers, etc?? OR do you buy beans and ground them at home?? Just recently I bought a bag of organic, free trade coffee at costco and I have been grounding at home ever since. Maybe people don't know the difference but I like it and I think I will continue. OF COURSE I still like my coffee from Timmies but I don't think I will go back to pre-ground again.

I used to have a coffee grinder, and I thought that it made the best coffee. Then it broke...and I guess I got used to pre-ground coffee.
By the way,
TAG!!! You're it. See my blog. So there.
Right now we either drink Nabob pre-ground coffee or we drink Nescafe instant.
In the new kitchen we will have a built in Miele coffee maker that will have a coffee bean grinder built in that will grind the beans for each cup individually....I'm not sure what beans we will buy for that.
I guess we will experiment until we find one we like.
I really don't like Second Cup coffee.
We've been buying beans for years. If you like flavoured beans and ever want a real treat, check out Jemz in Sherwood Park, get yourself a pound of Hilander Grog! It is to die for!!!!!
We keep our beans in the freezer because they say fresher and grind better when they are cold.
Folgers- preground.
I can't stand many other brands.
I buy the Tim Horton's preground. I don't drink a whole lot of coffee, but maybe I should look at getting me a grinder - seems I am missing something!
