New Years Eve
For New Years we do live lobster for supper. I thought I was being nice by putting the lobster in the tub with some water. My husband came in from outside and went to see the bathing lobsters only to find them all dead. So, actually, instead of live lobster we had dead but bathed lobster.
Ashley was hesitant to touch them at first but then was having fun playing with her "best buddy." Rest assured, we don't let the girls play their food everyday. However it was kind of funny watching the girls make them walk around the kitchen floor. The "play" session lasted only minutes.

The next two pictures is what you get when you combine a childlike husband, lobster and a camera.

Christmas con't...
The girls got some transformers for Christmas and the damn things are very confusing. This picture is of 3 grown men (my husband, my bro and my sisters beau) working on them. It was quite funny and I suggested just sending them to the boys in Natasha's kindergarten class to figure out.

The boys escaping for a game of Foozeball downstairs.

The girls at the end of their Christmas hunt. The reward...a sled that they absolutely LOVE!!!

The girls all dressed up with some of their gifts. They changed clothes later just because that is what they do.

Christmas
I am kind of jumping all over the place with my posts....sorry!! I have so many pictures from Christmas so I will try and give everyone a good taste of what ours looked like. This year was similar to last. I hosted (with food help) both families over for dinner on Christmas Eve. I think fun was had by all and food enjoyed by everyone.
I'll start with pictures of the Christmas gift everyone was hoping for but had to share...cuddles with Tyson.

Tyson
Knowing (95% sure) that my husband and I are retiring our "parts" for baby making purposes I am trying to enjoy and relish in every newborn moment. I am letting my gaze last a little longer. My snuggles a little tighter. My breaths of baby scent a little deeper. Its funny, though, in all my effort to make time stand still it is still ticking by too quickly. Tyson is 3 weeks old tomorrow. Last night I picked up Ashley to take her pee and I couldn't believe how big she is...it made me teary. Both girls are still so young but after holding 7 pounds so much, she seemed so big. The girls are still very much in love with their brother. He is the first one they want in the morning, and the last one at night. They are still always wanting to hold him, fighting over who got a longer turn.
Here are some shots I have taken of Tyson. Some are a little "artsy fartsy" as my hubby would say but I am just playing with my photography.

GT-ing
After some issues with the quad and bitter cold temperatures the girls got out on the GT snow racers yesterday. With the windchill I thought the girls would do a loop and come in complaining it was too cold. To my surprise they were outside probably a solid 45 minutes and happy every minute of it.
They came in with rosie cheeks and hot chocolate waiting for them on the table.
