Fashionable Camera Bag...

Yes please!! This is another one of those "if you have spare money laying around and you have to spend it on someone" posts. Take a mental picture, write it down or bookmark this page because this is what I would like. In red please. Maybe also laced with crisp $100 bills? Scrap that, a new camera lense. A girl can dream, can't she? Can I get three cheers for the end of the recession??

The Birthday Party

Bad me. I didn't snap my camera nearly enough during Natasha's birthday party. With 10 kids total (including my two girls) I was more concerned with the noise, the activities and supervision. I did manage to get a picture of them singing, opening gifts, my 4 hour Spongebob cake (and not a great one at that) and a group shot at the end. I missed the pinata, trampoling fun and the pillow fight. Luckily we only had one MINOR injury when a little girl got a corner of a gift bag in her eye. Of course it was right at the end of the party when the mom arrived for pick up. Nothing like coming to pick up your daughter to find her crying with a cold cloth on her face. Yay me right? Fun was had by all and I was even told that my house "is totally awesome."

More Tyson

Tyson stayed at my inlaws while the girls and I played at the ATB Family Day so his pictures are from our field photoshoot a couple posts back. My sweet hubby has been nicely hinting at an update the last couple of days. This morning he bluntly told me "Update your damn blog!" Todays posts are for my dear, sweet husband! I love you!

ATB Family Day

On Saturday, the girls and I headed to Red Deer for the ATB Family Day at the Collicut Center. This event only happens in the central region which I think is a shame. We had access to the whole facility which includes, but is not limited too, the swimming pool, skating rink, indoor courts, climbing walls, bouncy things. When we first got their we checked out all the things to do and decided the pool was where we would start. We spent nearly 2 hours in the pool and it was LOTS of fun. After the pool, we decided it was time for some face painting and balloon animals. By the time the girls got their faces painted and their balloon creations it was time for the magic show. Some of the magic show went over Ashley's head but Natasha LOVED it. After the magic show it was time to try rock climbing. Natasha did AWESOME. Ashley did great too but her limbs are just a little too little this year. I think she will be scaling the wall next year. It was a great event and I hope to head back their next year. Thanks Dad for the invite!
