Spa Movie

Yesterday evening I gave the kids a Spa Movie. They soaked their feet, got a face mask, and then got a foot massage and their nails painted. Tyson wanted to be just like the girls so he joined in the foot soak and foot rub. A cheap alternative to the real thing with the same benefits. It was fun and the girls want another Spa this morning. Might just have to make this a Friday night special :-)

Do I still have a blog?

This is me pulling out my norwex dust mitt and swiping it over my blog. I know it has been neglected. When I get really behind it seems really overwhelming at the thought of catching up. So rather than a lengthy update, I will leave you with a catch-up in pictures.

We had a Christmas concert,




and someone celebrated a second birthday. :-)






We had some Christmas and even welcomed in a new year with some live lobsters.

and we have also seen a lot of snow.

Trip to the Farm

The trip to the farm was for Gido's 94th Birthday. He has lost weight but he looked great and I think he was happy to see his family gathered around him. A family gathering never ends without a laugh, a good story and some accidents. This time was no different. Enjoy the photos....

Adam went hunting with Evan and Daryl on Sunday morning and had a great time. The rumour floating around is that he was a little trigger happy :-) He had a great time and actually put some meat on our table (on Uncle Daryl's ammunition dollar, haha). He had a great time and will be hunting again when the next opportunity rises. The first two photos are foggy because I just took my camera out of the cold. Fog or not, you can still see Adam's big smile!

My Kids

It has been far too long since I have updated and for that I apologize. I wish I could give a witty reason or even an acceptable one at that, but the truth is it was a combination of laziness and better things to do. I am not even going to promise a daily update but am going to commit to 3-4 posts per week. Not just for my readers but for myself. One day I will be able to look back on this blog and show my kids, and that is important!
