My MIL gave me me some magazines called Acreage Life. She had been getting them for free and thought I might find some interesting information. Well I opened up the early spring edition and came across an article about burning grain as an alternative to oil/wood/natural gas. HOW WONDERFUL!!! We are not in need of a new furnace right now but this will definitely something I will consider come the time. I am going to do some more research because I see the benefits reaching farther than my pocket book. What a great way to help the environment because it's a renewable resource but also a wonderful way to support local farmers.

LOL I don't think you'll find many burning grain this year, not for $12 a bushel! CRAZY prices this year, otherwise an interesting idea.
