Editing
Not sure if this post belongs on this blog or my photography blog...whatever. So I found this blog and entered the photo contest last week. The photo below was choosen as a top 10. There is no doubt that the girl is cute but the photo to me is all editing. When I take a picture I aim for perfection through the lense...not through editing on my computer. I would say 99% of my photos are not edited AT ALL. Anyway I was kind of bothered that this picture was choosen because I think there is a difference between photography and photoshopping. I would really like to see this photo before all the editing was done.

I totally agree... that is photoshopped all the way. I do photoshop a bit on my photos but nothing to this extent.
I agree, too. There should be a seperate category if it comes down to a contest - edited and natural.
Oh, I could tell right away that that pic was edited...and you're right, it's doesn't seem right that it should even be in the same category as an un-touched photo.
