Ok so I looked up Calico cats and the kittens are NOT calico. I thought calico was simply a mixture of colours but apparently it is not. Annoymous poster MOST, not all, calico cats are female. 7jays I will post pictures today so you can look and decide. SOrry for passing the wrong information.
The kittens are doing great. They are running around playing but are handled enough that they come when we call them. The other day one was following my eldest around the yard. There are 4 males and 1 female. There is a male and female of the calico ones. The male is really cute and has really distinct stripes on his legs. He reminds me of a tiger. The female doesn't have the same markings but is still damn cute. I am offering solid food but so far I have not seen them eat any of it. They are around the dogs (one is a retriever) and seem to be comfortable but hiss when they have had enough. I have pictures which I will update with but I just wanted to write something.
The kittens are 4 weeks old, roughly.

the male sounds wonderful! the kids will be so excited. I have a favor to ask though, we are on holidays for the first two weeks of Aug, so can I pick up the kitten(s) after we come home?
all calico cats are female.
I had heard that but wasn't sure!
Its not a problem Danica. I will just take the cutest! ;)
Outdoor but at the house, my cats tend to get spoiled alot. My kids and I love them but with all the allergies in this family, they have to stay out. Except for the occasional visit!
They are so cute...little bundles of fur!
