I just (ok maybe like 2 weeks ago) finished reading "If I am missing or dead..." It was true story about physical and emotional abuse that two sisters encountered but kept secret. It was good.
I am now reading Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult. I really like this author though I was crazy about her book The Tenth Circle. I have read 19 minutes and My Sisters Keeper both of which were wonderful. I really like how she presents each side of the story without letting her own feelings and opinions creep in. Her books at also made me look differently at some pretty difficult topics.
I am not sure why but I really like tragic, heavy topic books. I really don't think my taste in books resembles my personality but I just like them. If anyone has a good tragic book to recommend...post away.

I have both those Jodi Picoult books yet to read....can't wait! :) I'm glad to hear you liked them
I picked up Strawberry Fields from Costoc awhile ago and loved that book as well!
I love tragedy too!
Danica you should read Flight of the Dragonfly. I am sure you can get it at Costco. We had it at ours anyway. It is the story of the two girls who were kidnapped by their Dad two summers ago and taken to Lebanon. Their mother was from Saskatoon (close family friends of Chris's). Melissa wrote about about the entire search for the girls and everything that happened once she got them back and how they got back home. It is SUCH a good book. I couldn't put it down. Candace is reading it right now in her not so spare time!
