No its not done on a MAC. Most laptops these days have webcams built in (not sure about desktops) I have a webcam on my desktop that does the same effects as a MAC. My dh has a MAC laptop and I like it. As much as I like the MAC I know windows really well and am not keen on totally abandoning windows all together.

You can get windows for Mac by the way so you don't have to give up windows if you get your mac :) I love my mac.
